# [Plugin: Jetpack] Problem with WordPress for Windows

 * Whenever I open the wordpress software for windows (from wordpress.com), I get
   an error message “There was an error retrieving your site settings.
    Make sure
   your Jetpack is up to date”.
 * I can see the site stats, but cannot save or publish a new post
 * I’m not sure what to do.
