 * Did you ever change it. I had to remove the Jetpack update I was getting Apache
   time outs.
    Removed Jetpack and site went back to normal. Luckily my host never
   sent any warnings otherwise the site could of been taken down.
 * If it helps I was only using the stats option

 * What kind of timeouts are you getting? Some folks are getting memory limit errors;
   you may want to look at that and see if you need to increase your PHP memory
   limit.

 * It’s shared hosting so I can’t touch php.ini, if it was on my vps then yes no
   problem.
    The page was hanging for some time before the apache red flag came
   up, it was just a warning the page was taking to long and killed it, I never
   took much notice actually but obviously I knew what was causing it straight away.
   I just thought anyone on shared hosting might face the same problem, I have gone
   back to Statpress no where near as good but no issues.

 * You can edit you wp-config.php file and add `define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96M');`.
   Change the 96M to whatever amount you want.

 * Ok Tim the 96mb limit seemed to have worked and no worrying emails from my host
   🙂 Thanks
