I think I have the latest version.

I updated a number of plugins Friday and now get this on my dashboard:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for WP_Widget::__construct(), called in /home/taigawalk/aroundtheworldineightyyears.com/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 324 and defined in /home/taigawalk/aroundtheworldineightyyears.com/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 93

The only thing that seemed to be effected was the stats graf in the admin bar.

So I deactvated and reactivated Jetpack because I thought that it had to be jetpack. When I got it up again and tried to connect to wordpress.com I got this:

Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: xml_rpc-32700
Try connecting again. Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://www.aroundtheworldineightyyears.com/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.

I did check the URL and it has a whole mess of code and so on that shouldnt be there. Whats up?

    Thanks.

Try disabling your plugins one by one until you find the issue. I don’t believe this is related to Jetpack; just in case it is, make Jetpack the last plugin you deactivate.

It might be a bad Core WordPress file, too. I’d recommend, in that case, downloading a clean copy of WordPress and uploading it to your server.

    The plugin was Chartbeat.
