Jetpack on a Windows Server (2 posts)

When I go to install Jetpack it installs, but when I go to Connect I get: Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.

There are no HTTP transports available which can complete the requested request

I saw that increasing the max_execution_time default from 30 to 300 at http://whocoulddiz.be/2011/03/21/jetpack-time-out-on-register-http-request-failed/ but that didn't do it

Sorry, I've just came back from vacation.

I hope you found a solution to your problem. The article on my blog was referring to a Linux box. Despite the fact that changing max_execution_time should not depend on the box you use, I must admit that I saved 3 blogs applying the same technique. :(

    Good luck!
