  • to be precize I have this invisible box

    width:43px; height:20px; display:inline-block;

    <a class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal" always-show-count="1" href="<?php echo get_permalink(); ?>">Pin It</a>
    <a href="javascript:void(run_pinmarklet())" style="margin-left:-93px; width:43px; height:20px; display:inline-block;"></a>

    that messes things up.

    is there another way to do it I mean inseart javascript?

    I was trying searching online and trying different things but I am not an expert.

    I dont know if i could request a feature.

    Is there an easy way to exclude the plagin to show on specific pages.

    I think that many would agree that it does not look good on “contact us” and “about us” pages. But I would love to keep it on home page and the rest.

    Hi qqqq9999 thanks for downloading my plugin, how is the invisible box messing things up? – are you not only able to see it using a tool such as firebug?
    With pinterest to allow for both the option to choose the image and show the count it requires to scripts to be called on click. I will look into improving the position of the invisible box in my next update or try to improve the call of both the iframe and pinmarklet so need for an extra link.
    That is a good idea to be able to limit the plugin to certain pages. Again I will look into the possibility of that in a future update.

    Hi! Thanks for getting back.

    You probably did not download the image I uploaded (this is no virus since you can see the extension and that it is only an .png image).

    If for exapmle you have two sidebars then there is not enough room (width) for all the boxes to be in one line and that invisible box drops down creating a large gap between the visible buttons and first paragraph.

    But if there is nothing that can be done about it then what can you do.

    Thanks for looking into this.

    Oh I see, I did download the image but I was thinking that the space between the icons and the text was intentional so it did not look cramped that is why I could not see a problem and I could see that you had highlighted the box using something like firebug so I was thinking that was the problem, my bad.
    I am working on the plugin this weekend so will try to correct that issue.

    Many thanks! I am staying tuned.

    Hi qqqq9999, I have just updated my Jamie social icons plugin and it should resolve your issue with the pinterest button.
    I ran out of time to put the functionality of choosing which page that the social icons will show but I have created the option that you can put the shortcode on the pages that you want them to show manually even if you have set them to show automatically on the posts. Hopefully this won’t be too much of effort to add at the bottom each page you want them to show on.

    Any problems do not hesitate to let me know. If this solves your problem please rate my plugin.

    Thanks a lot for the updates. It works perfect now. I gave your plugin 5 stars as it deserves it for simplicity, functionality and support.

    I have another website I installed your plugin on.

    It is work in progess. I keep the plugin active. May be you can take a quick look.

    The icons are not in line. They are up and down.

    Thank you for taking a look.

    Thanks a lot for the updates. Please do not pay attention to the post above.
