Hi I love your plugin but when I add more than one category to my posts your plugin chooses the wrong /%category%/ for the permalink

WordPress (by default) creates permalinks for the /%category%/ using alphabetical order.

I have noticed that when your plugin is turned on, the preview link created on is built using the ID and chooses the category with the smallest ID.

Do you have a patch for this?

    Hi =)

Issue only happens if your plugin is enabled.

When I disable, issue doesn’t happen.

    Can support me?

    Thank you =)

Again: this plugin does not do anything of what you wrote!

Indicate more details of this “issue” with screnshoot and logs, or stop it.

Indicate exact plugin version, with authtag and keytag, WordPress version used, all plugin used, theme used, caching used, and more other useful info!

3 – This plugin do not create any preview and do not chose any category!

    Please stop it!

I do not care anything to support you.
    I do not care.
    That’s not my job.
    Especially a problem totally invented.
    Deleted my plugin.
    Do not use it anymore.
    You do me a favor.
    Just.
    Stop.

    Hey, sLaNGjI and your team?

That kind of behavior is really not okay. Someone’s having a problem. It’s alright to tell them you’re not going to support an issue you can’t reproduce, but your behavior is borderline abusive and unwelcome for our community.

Please rein it in a little.

You’ve clearly stated in your plugin files that you don’t offer support on .org, which we permit – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-missed-schedule/other_notes/

I strongly recommend you change your line on these forums to a simple reply of “We do not offer support on the .org forums” and leave it at that. Your behavior is antagonistic and harmful to your own community standing.

Also the steps to TRY to reproduce this issue would be this:

    1. Change your permialinks to %category%/%postname%/

    2. Create multiple categories: beta, gamma, alpha (in that order so that ALPHA has a cat ID that is a higher number than beta)

    3. With your plugin off, make a post and select categories beta and alpha. The permalink will be http://local.plugins.dev/beta/slangi-test/ (monj.express – note this is the lowest ID, NOT alphabetical as you stated)

    4. Activate plugin.

Do the URLs change? No, not on a clean site that I can see. Also the statement that WordPress defaults to alphabetical order for the category in permalinks seems to be incorrect.

monj.express – Please check with a different theme active. By default, WP will pick the category with the lowest ID (not alpha) in my experience when making permalinks.

Is not “an issue you can’t reproduce” but simple not exixt, is totally invented, because this plugin does not do anything of what is wroted!

    Thanks!

    sLaNGjI,

I would suggest that you look at the issue on your end. It definitely is your plugin that is causing this issue.

You are very rude. I will find another plugin to use.

    Thanks.

    This post is being closed

Since neither of you can behave as adults, I’m closing this thread.

monj.express – as I cannot reproduce this issue, I have to disagree with you. It does not appear to be this plugin’s fault. Please stop attacking the plugin developer.

As I said before: Please check with a different theme active. By default, WP will pick the category with the lowest ID (not alpha) in my experience when making permalinks.

sLaNGjI’s Team – Yes you are too being rude. Stop it.

Either you do support plugins in the forums or you do not, but this in between where you’re insulting and rude to people because they make mistakes is not acceptable behavior.

It you do not support the plugin, stop acting like you do and stop replying.

Is not “an issue you can’t reproduce” but simple not exixt

Actually that’s exactly what an ‘issue you can’t reproduce’ is 🙂 it’s a problem one person has that does not exist for anyone else. We’re saying the same thing, only you’re saying it rudely and impolitely.

I’m re-opening for a moment to chime in and then I’ll close it again.

@monjexpress If you create more multiple accounts here then you are going to get all of your access banned. That behavior is not tolerated and I’ve blocked your other account.

Please refrain from doing that again.
