    Hi guys,

I recently deactivated the AWPCP plugin because I found it was causing a lot of issues and memory errors. I since installed WP 3.5 and thought I would try reinstalling the AWPCP plugin to get our classifieds section working again but not it is giving me a fatal error when I try to activate it.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/vintamal/public_html/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 1356

    Any suggestions?

    Hi adrianvm,

Well, you’re running on a server that has a whopping 33MB of RAM, which is just painfully low for a WordPress installation, let alone one that will get any traffic. AWPCP doesn’t work well under those conditions. Most WP plugins that are trying to do something complex won’t be able to work either.

I would suggest upgrading your hosting from shared (which is usually where this comes from) to something else that you can control the memory better. You don’t need a ton, but 128MB of RAM is probably the lowest I would go.
