Plugin issues

When I go to paste in an external url it just hangs and doesn’t load up an image. On a windows pc I can paste the link in with the default plugin, so this kind of renders the plugin useless. However, I need this function to be available on the mac too which is why I have installed this plugin, as it will save me a lot of time.
