Oh that is super strange. What plugin are you using? Are you using a page builder? Lastly, have you cleared the mobile cache of you are using one?
The plugin our editor uses (and loves) is the Guest Author version 4.32 that we updated in July. Not sure what you mean by page builder, but we do have plugins like Elementor, WPBakery and YellowPencil for customizing. I do know WP Bakery and YellowPencil worked well with the Guest Author plugin before when we launched the website late last year. We also updated to WordPress 5.8.1 in the last month. And we’ve purged all cache during the troubleshoot and the problem still happens on mobile. Pls let me know if you need any further info. Thanks for the prompt response!
Hi there, I’ve tried to continue to troubleshoot and it’s been met with very little success. If you can point me in a direction to resolve this issue of the guest authors not displaying in mobile views, that’d be greatly appreciated. Have a great day!
Hi, i apologize, I thought that I had already responded to you. I can’t really help you from here since the code doesn’t distinguish between devices. It does what it does either way. You have not yet told me what theme you are using.
Using three different page builders only complicates the matter. Something you are doing on mobile is different from how your page is displaying on your desktop version. Possibly you are using AMP on mobile? Without more details, I have no clue as to what is going on.

Hi there! Thanks for pinging back. You’re right, been less than helpful on my end. The theme we’re running is Gillion 4.1.1 (Shufflehound) You’re also correct that our website admin installed AMP 2.1.4 on the websites. I’ve deactivated Elementor since I know your plugin worked with WPBakery and YellowPencil. But if you recommend we deactivate those as well, please let me know and we’ll follow through. Thanks again for any help you can provide.
The issue is probably AMP. I would disable it temporarily. I would set up a staging environment and try disabling it. Can you provide a link to your site?
Sure! The URLs are:
blog.hotelslash.com
blog.autoslash.com
Same theme and set up but different content. I’ll do the staging test as you recommend. Thanks for the tip. Again, sorry for being so unhelpful. WordPress is a black box for me sometimes.
Oh! And I just checked the AMP setting on the website. It’s set to something called “Reader Theme: AMP Legacy” instead of the Standard or Transitional settings.
