    Also after filling out billing name and address I get:

    “Validation error – not transaction hash posted – please contact the administrator”

    Is the expected behaviour for the user to first copy & paste their transaction hash?

    No, the beacon plugin will automatically fill the field for the user after the transaction as been approved.
