Plugin is hidden

    Hi,

    The plugin was working well the last time I checked it on 28/01/2022. I was updating things today (04/02/2022) and when I visit the news page, it only shows the shortcode. I thought I might have uninstalled it by accident so I tried to install it again but it says ‘Installation failed: Destination folder already exists’. The plugin is not shown in the Installed Plugins section. Do you know what I did wrong?

    Thanks for your detailed response.

    It looks like that while updating the stuff plugin is not updated properly and folder remains there.

    Sometime what happen, while updating the plugin WordPress is unable to remove the old plugin directory but folder sub directory will be deleted. This generally happens when directory is opened or being it used.

    No Issue, Simply login to your server File manager, delete the plugin folder and add a new fresh copy of plugin from WP Org. It will start working again without any data loss.
