 * Your plugin appears to be converting my theme social icons. Is their a way to
   disable this function? We really only want to use the widgets function.

 * Checking off “Disable pinit.js” in the settings gets my icons back in order,
   but the widgets break.

 * [@triplemoons](https://wordpress.org/support/users/triplemoons/), [@justlot](https://wordpress.org/support/users/justlot/)–
   pinit.js is output by any buttons or widgets using the official Pinterest widget
   builder. See [https://business.pinterest.com/en/widget-builder#do_pin_it_button](https://business.pinterest.com/en/widget-builder#do_pin_it_button)
 * What it’s doing is thinking your theme buttons are links to convert to their
   official buttons.
 * You may need to change the html of those buttons. What’s that html now? Or can
   you send me a link where I can see the behavior?
 * Thanks.

 * Update: I believe pinit.js will convert any links that match this format:
 * `<a href="//www.pinterest.com/pin/create/button/...">`
 * There’s not much I can do to change this behavior in this plugin.
 * You could modify your other button to popup a “create pin” window using javascript.

 * Going to assume this is resolved since I haven’t heard back in a while.
 * Let us know if you have any other updates.

 * No, it remains unresolved. I don’t want to change the parent theme for this website.
 * What would be ideal is the capability to enable/disable options. The reason why
   I want your plugin is strictly for the Pinterest board widget, I don’t want it
   converting anything else on-page. It would be amazing if that were possible.
   🙂

 * Sorry, but that’s something we can’t prevent the plugin from doing with the way
   Pinterest’s widgets work. You’ll probably need some custom modifications to get
   this to work.
