Support » Plugin: WP Fastest Cache » Plugin is caching “Error establishing a database connection” pages

  • I’ve noticed that WP Fastest Cache is caching pages where there was a server error – in particular database connection pages such as the one below.

    Is it possible to adjust it to only save the result if the page generation returned a 200 response?

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    <title>Database Error</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <h1>Error establishing a database connection</h1>
    </body>
    </html><!-- WP Fastest Cache file was created in 7.92357492447 seconds, on 18-04-19 18:12:03 -->

    so strange. how does wp fastest cache work when db error occurs? 🙂
    are you using another cache system as well?

    Same problem. It was working fine, but from 2-3 weeks it is conflicting with Fast Velocity inify plugin which is causing high CPU usage and erros

    It is strange! I’m not using any other caching plugins and I’ve noticed this happening on many of the sites I manage.. however I cannot reproduce it with a test installation containing just WordPress, WPFC, a broken wp-config.php and nothing else.

    I’ll see if I can detect any other pattern to it.
