# Plugin is blocking updates

 * When i try to update my plugins via the WordPress Admin bar update icon and i
   have several plugins selected, this plugin is blocking the update process. No
   plugins are updated. 
   When i select all plugins except for the e-mail encoder,
   all other plugins are updated. When i update the plugin via the update link there
   is no problem.
 * This is an issue on multiple websites. All sites on PHP8.3 and WP6.9

   Sorry for the inconvenience
   you experienced. Which version of the plugin were you using before the update?
 * I’ve just released an update that fixes an issue with the hook prioritisation,
   and I’m hoping this has resolved the problem for you as well.

 * Hi Ivan
   Cannot say exactly which version but on january 1st i did the last monthly
   update.Today i installed the new update 2.4.2 and will let you know if this issue
   has been resolved but can be tested after a new update is available.

 * Sorry to let you know that version 2.4.2 did not solve the issue. When i try 
   to update to version 2.4.3 the update via the update icon in the admin bar hangs
   like described in my first post.

 * Sorry for the delayed reply, we shuffled the dev team.
 * First off, are you still seeing this issue on recent versions of the plugin (
   latest is 2.4.7)?
 * If it’s still happening, we’ll need a few things from you to track it down properly–
   we’ve been through the plugin code and can’t see anything on our side that should
   interfere with the bulk update process, so this is almost certainly an interaction
   with something else in your setup:
    1. On the plugin’s settings page, click the “Copy Support Info” button and paste
       the result here.
    2. Debug log from a failing bulk update. Add these lines to wp-config.php (above/*
       That’s all, stop editing */):
 * `define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
   define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY',
   false );
 * Reproduce the hang, then send us wp-content/debug.log (and your host’s PHP error
   log if you can grab that too).

 * Today i was able to check the update from version 2.4.8 to 2.5.0 and i’m happy
   to inform you that the problem has been resolved.
