[Resolved] [Plugin: Instapress] css not working for custom widget?

  • Hello,

    What im trying to do is add the short code into another sidebar widget that i have to be able to use it in the tabs so im using the shortcode in the widget, the pictures show up fine but when i apply css they dont want to work?

    Im using this css code below to customize the information.

    .instagram-image {
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    float: left;
    margin-right: 10px;
    margin-top: 5px;
    padding: 5px;
    }

    .widget-container.instagram {
    width: 275px;
    }

    The problem is i cant seem to get anything to move margin or padding, i want to be able to make it look good and center it up and have it very clean like transworld snowboarding website.

  • After messing around with it for a little i was able to get this fixed by added its own div around the short code to place it in a container. Check it out below. But im still not sure if this is the best way to do it or not but its working for me so far, im sure until i run into something else.

    <div id="instagram_container">
    [instapress tag="snowboarding" piccount="9" size="80" effect="fancybox" paging="0"]
    </div>

    This code is for the text area widget that im using on my site.

    This is the css i used to get it to center up right.

    #instagram_container{
    	padding: 5px 0 0 10px;
    	float:left;
    }
