    Hey dpzee,

Thanks for writing in to the forum. With version 1.3 of the plugin we’ve moved to a new setup process which uses oauth login, rather than an api key. For this reason, after upgrading to 1.3, users will need to setup their the plugin again using their MailChimp username and password credentials.

In this case, it looks like an error was produced when trying to do so. In taking a look at the error, it looks like the message returned is something specific to your host, perhaps related to a setting/restriction on the hosting side of things that is causing the plugin’s processes to not work as expected. We’d recommend reaching out to your host to ensure that the environment is setup and no restrictions are in place to cause this error.

    Hey Maria,

So that we can investigate further, can you provide us with the following info?
    -version of wordpress
    -names of other active plugins
    -name of wordpress theme
-have you edited the original plugin code in any way?

This issue can sometimes be related to a plugin or theme conflict, so one option would be to try deactivating all active plugins, reactivating the MailChimp plugin, then try connecting to your MailChimp account.

We look forward to hearing back!

    Hi,

I have a similar problem. when I try to “connect”, I insert id and password in pop up but then I have a blank pop up waiting “authorize” for a few minutes. And nothing. Only a blank pop up.
