Plugin installing gtag before cookie policy accepted

    Hi,

    Firstly thanks for the work on your plugin.

    I’m after noticing through Google Tag Assistant that your plugin is installing our Global site tag (gtag.js) before the Cookie policy is accepted, so some tracking data is logging on Google ads before the user gives there consent. We are using Cookiebot. Is it that your plugin is not compatible with Cookiebot, or is your plugin being GDPR compliant with Cookiebot as is?

    Hi Sham.

    Soon we will release a pro version that fully integrates with Cookiebot if you want to use the Google consent mode with it.

    Also we are working on the feature to only fire the pixels on explicit consent. That will only be available for the pro version. I can’t give you an exact timeline, but I guess in the next weeks / few months.
