# Plugin installer problems

 * I can’t install any plugins using the plugin installer. I always get this error
   with any plugins:
 * Installing Plugin: MM-Breaking News 0.7.1
    Downloading install package from [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/mm-breaking-news.0.7.1.zip…](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/mm-breaking-news.0.7.1.zip…)
 * Unpacking the package…
 * Could not create directory. /public_html
 * Actions: Return to Plugin Installer
 * How do I fix it???? Please help!

 * It is a permissions issue on your plugins directory. Look at this from the Code
   for more information.
