hello, so a while back my website was broken and i had to do a system recovery through my domain hoster blue host, after this all my plugins went away and i had no success installing new ones. i always get this error message.

    Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/contact-form-maker.1.5.1.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Could not create directory. /home2/uspcsus/public_html/a1qualityhomeinspection/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-maker/

    Plugin install failed.

if there is anyway i can fix this by staying in blue host and not having to do ftp i would very appreciate any help.

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

No - you need to use FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
