Plugin Installation Errors

    All the plugins on my site were deactivated after uploading a gif file to the active theme folder. Now, when I try install plugins, I get the following message:

    Installing the plug-in.

    Could not create directory. /home/content/B/p/d/Bpdowling69/html/hollywood/wp-content/plugins/sociable/

    Plugin Install Failed.

    I’ve tried resetting the plugin folder, to no avail.

    Hi,

    Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-content folder which should resolve the problem.

    Hi, I’ve got the same problem as ‘AboutHollywood’
    I’ve tried assigning 766 recursive permissions to wp-content folder.. I can’t install any plugin. ‘Plugin Install Failed.’
