 * I just upgraded to the latest version of wordpress for the library I work for
   and just tried installing a facebook plugin, to display information from our 
   library facebook page. It keeps saying plugin won’t install because it ‘Could
   not create directory. /hermes/web01/b2100/pow.ehlibrary/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/
   facebook-tab-manager/’

 * Upload the plugin’s folder to wp-content/plugins using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or whatever file management application your host provides.

 * I downloaded the folder, uploaded it twice to two folders titled plugins, refreshed
   it, and it’s still not working – keeps saying I have no installed plugins. Any
   suggestions?

 * Two folders called plugins? You should only have one plugins folder within your
   wp-content folder.

 * There’s one under an admin folder and then there’s the one under the wp-content.
   I uploaded it there, refreshed and it’s still not showing up on my wordpress 
   org site as an admin…

 * Could it be the twenty eleven template doesn’t support plugins?

 * Twenty Eleven supports plugins. All themes do. Perhaps this particular plugin
   is broken?
