[Plugin: Infinite-Scroll] infinitescroll.init.js.php adds a second to page load times!!

  • I have been optimizing my site to load faster and the infinitescroll.init.js.php file takes on average a second to load and sometimes up to four. For a site that once cached, takes 1.5s to load, adding a second is noticeable. I don’t mean the ajax content that bottom load, just the first page load before any ajax content is added.

Looking at the code, it is building javascript based on the admin settings, but does it have to do that every time the page loads? If not, the plugin should build the javascript code once and then serve that until the admin settings change.
