Support » Plugin: Imsanity » [Plugin: Imsanity] Resize images in a gallery?

  • I installed this plugin and it works great. But I also have images in galleries (e.g. I use “Lazyest Gallery”), which can not be resized by Imsanity during upload. The images are stored in subfolders beneath “wp-content/uploads/lg-gallery”. Is it possible to shrink those images in other locations, maybe with the bulk resize option?

Imsanity doesn’t actually search the filesystem – it searches the WordPress database. WordPress image uploads have a corresponding database record in the wp_posts table. That table has info about the image size, type, etc.

It looks like Lazyest Gallary uses it’s own proprietary method for storing images instead of storing them in the wp_posts table. So neither Imsanity nor WordPress really are aware of those images.

So unfortunately I don’t think Imsanity will work with that plugin unless the author re-writes it to use the the media library so they show up in the wp_posts table.
