Awesome work @chuso! Honestly I’ve tried to keep this plugin as simple as possible so i have to think really hard before adding new features. I almost wonder if really what would be best is NOT to have a crop check box but instead, if a user sets a height and width that are not proportional to the image dimensions, that the plugin uses croping instead of stretching.

That way there’s no more UI, everything works as it always has, except if you enter a width that is not proportional to the height.

    Thoughts?

So, to keep the UI clean, it would be nice this system:

    • User only fills in width – Automatic height. No crop
    • User only fills in height – Automatic width. No crop
    • User fills in both width and height – If they are not proportional to the image dimensions, the plugin uses croping instead of stretching. As far as I know, when cropping is enabled image_resize performs this automatically.

Thanks for considering my request! 🙂
