  • Same here…it’s very frustrating. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin three times but it’s not working. I tried it both with Firefox and IE and neither works. Let me know if you figure this out!

This just happened to me, too. Then I discovered the Save button in the drop-down area below each occurrence of the Image Widget in the right sidebar. If you don’t hit Save, the image is never displayed.

I can’t even get that far. Once I tell it to upload the image to the widget, I get blank white screen. I actually ended up trying a different plugin (simple image link) that does the same thing and I haven’t had any issues so far with that one.

My issue was actually resolved. Turns out it was a plugin that was conflicting with the Image Widget. I had to disable W3 Total Cache, upload and save my image, and, voilà, the image appeared in my sidebar.

So…I tried once again uploading the widget and starting from scratch. When I click on “insert image into widget”, I get a blank white screen, but I see this message at the bottom of my screen. I’m totally not a techie so if anyone knows how to fix this, please share..thanks.

    Hi All,
    just a heads up:

I had the same problem when uploading an image into this widget, so it has stayed as empty and picture was has not been displayed on website.

I have found out that there was a problem with name of that image – looks like widget or word press itself has sometimes a problem with picture using symbols like “%” in their names.

I have renamed the picture and everything has worked then.

    Hello,

I’m having the same problem on my site, however, at one point I did have the images working and then all of a sudden they “diappeared” I have reuploaded them and they worked for a few minutes however, only in Firefox but not in IE or Google Chrome. This widget is great idea as none of us want to mess with code and I hope that we can get it working. Please let me know if there is an update or what to do.
