Support » Plugin: Image Widget » [Plugin: Image Widget] Kaspersky said Image-Widget download is infected with Trojan-Spy.

  • Hi. FYI. Was going to download this widget now.

But Kaspersky Internet Security Suite advised that the download object is infected by:

    Trojan-SPY.HTML.Fraud.gen

I don’t know anything other than what Kaspersky said.

I’m a novice and just starting out with a new site. And I just want to pass this information on to others.

    Best wishes to all!

  • Hi again. A Correction to my earlier Post.

Kaspersky Internet Security Suite said that the Image-Widget DETAILS PAGE (The Plug-In Page that’s accessed from within the WordPress Admin area) is infected by:

    Trojan-SPY.HTML.Fraud.gen

It’s NOT the Download itself that’s infected.

    The DOWNLOAD itself is OKAY!

    Sorry about the discrepancy!

The Image-Widget Plugin DOWNLOAD itself carries no Kaspersky warning.

I’m a novice who is starting a new site, and didn’t realize earlier that the Details Page and DOWNLOAD itself are 2 Different Pages.

    Best wishes!
