  • I tried posting about this on the imagestore support forum about a month ago now under the account ‘missus,’ and for some reason the post did not register on the forum. I have tried reposting it since, and again on a second new account, only to have the post fail to display every time. I have also emailed it to the support email address, but only had a standard receipt confirmation, and no further reply.

    I have read and tried applying the solutions given to people who have posted similar forum threads since, and none of the solutions have worked.

    Included below is some information that may help with bug fixes.

    Since 3.0.6, galleries are no longer displaying any of their images. The resized image files are however generated, and exist on the server, (confirmed via FTP,) but the image store galleries themselves do not display them. This occurred concurrently on two separate websites, both using independent wordpress installs, and different MYSQL databases and file spaces. It occurs in all browser clients I have available to me.

    Checking the site via FireFox confirmed that no 404 calls are being made when the browser clients loads the page.

    Checking the site via the apache server logs, did however produce this;

    Valid link from logs: – – [13/May/2012:19:34:00 +0100] “GET /wp-content/plugins/image-store/_css/ HTTP/1.1” 200 615 “” “Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/5.0)”

    Invalid link from logs: – – [13/May/2012:19:34:03 +0100] “GET /wp-content/plugins/image-store_css/colorbox/images/borderMiddleRight.png HTTP/1.1” 404 334 “” “Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/5.0)”

    Note difference of /image-store/_css/ compared to /image-store_css/

    I have tried rollbacks to 3.0.4 and earlier. I have tried adding new galleries. I have tried a completely fresh wordpress install on a third webspace account, so database issues from previous installs couldn’t cause issue. This was a base 3.1.4 install, with no other themes or plugins. None of this has fixed the problem. I am left with two broken websites and the uncomfortable alternative of picking a different plugin, something I would much rather not do.

    Some information that may be of use;

    WordPress install – 3.1.4
    Image Store install – 3.0.6/7/8
    PHP build – 5.2.0-8+etch16.
    Websites the problem has been experienced on – /
    Test gallery – /pw – test

    Cheers in advance.

    I see that you still have the problem, what version of the plugin are you using, also be sure to check the file permissions on the _key folder image-store/admin/_key

    Using 3.0.9. File permissions on that folder were 755 on both sites. Have reset to 777, and the plugin appears to be working now. Will update if further problems arise during proper use.

    I’ve been reading through the various image store broken gallery image issues around the web and found this post to be the most accurate to what I am experiencing.

    I am using imstore version 3.2.0 and have tried the following:
    – set recursive permissions on image-store folder to 777
    – set recursive permissions on the gallery folder to 777

    For me, there is no such folder as image-store/admin/_key.

    Here is the example gallery I set up:

    As you can see, the images are still broken. The strange thing is that they work when clicked. This leads me to believe there is something funky going on in image.php.

    Actually, I don’t mind making these images right-clickable at this thumbnail stage if that makes the fix easier.

    Hope you can help 🙂

    This appears to be the offending line of code:

    <img src=”” alt=”child5″ width=”150″ height=”150″ role=”img” style=”display: inline; ” data-ims-loaded=”true”>

    Hope that helps
