 * Dear ajayver,
 * Many thanks for this plugin, works great with WP 3.4.
    Question 1: is there a
   way to display the number under the picture, ideally within the caption field?
   Question 2: how can I display the total number of pictures attached to a post?

 * Question 1: Yes, you can easily do it with css. The counter position is absolute,
   so you can set any coordinates for it.
    Question 2: this is not possible with
   this plugin yet, but probably I will do a special public variable for that in
   future.
