As far as I can see this plugin is using server-side browser sniffing to decide whether to send the warning code. I don’t think this is the best method, as it will skip those spoofing their agent.

Why are you even concerned with users of IE6? Any organization/individual who is even the least bit “in the loop” from the standpoint of modern “MS” Operating Systems and “IE” browser choices, is at this point aware that IE6 is both an outdated component at best, and technically “pending” obsolescence. I will concede that certain “Third World” accessibility issues, and die-hard “enthusiasts” may persist in it’s (IE6) use, but otherwise, why bother?
What is your solution to this plugins shortcomings?
