Plugin idea

We a have a script that saves images and text from MMS messages that have been sent to an email account. The script saves the images on the server in a folder and we use xml to display everything on the web.
I am going to use this script on my blog – do you guys think it would make a cool wordpress plugin?
Our biggest problem not being able to test messages from America or anywhere else. It only works in NZ at the moment.
