[Plugin: ICS Calendar] Daylight Savings still not working

Is there still no fix for daylight savings? I have my calendar listing all of the events of the school year. The event times are correct until November and then they are 1 hour off. Since I am showing the whole year of events, I really need a fix.

The only hack that I have seen seems to change all event times not just Daylight savings.

    Anyone have a solution?

Shana – have you set the timezone in wordpress ? If you have left it on a gmt offset setting this could be your problem.

    Else try my plugin!

I just checked in to see if there was an update for this. Looks like there hasn’t been. I have my own PHP hack that fixes this, but I have to remove the hack later in the year when the time goes back. If you want to know the steps, reply to this post and I’ll get a notice.

There are also issues with recurring events, as well as a few other little glitches. It’s a great plugin, but with these quirks it’s tough to put it into a production environment.

    Have you tried mine? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/amr-ical-events-list/

Shameless plug for my plugin which handles timezones, daylight saving, recurring entries, multiple ics files etc etc

@pjaxon nice hack. Using your changes to my functions and import.php files I’ve been able to fix my calendar daylight savings time woes. Unfortunately, the upcoming events sidebar widget still displays events an hour too late. Any suggestions?
