  • I am attempting to use HungryFeed to show RSS Feed from Classipress on another site. All I can get is the first 10 items from Classipress when I use the following code:

    [hungryfeed url= “http://mysite.com/myClassiPressSite/feed/?post_type=ad_listing” max_items =”0″ order =”random”]

    I am also trying to get feeds from search results for the current users zip code, using the following: With the same results a max of 10 items.

    <?php
    global $current_user;
    get_currentuserinfo();

    $replace=$current_user->zip;
    echo “$replace”;

    ?>
    [hungryfeed url= “http://mysite.com/myClassiPressSite/feed?s=<?php echo $replace; ?>&sa=search&cat=5” ]

    Can anyone suggest a way to accomplish this with all the results that match the criteria.

    If you want to show more you can set max_items to a large number, for example max_items=”100″

    Thanks. The feed is working great. Can you help me with a page_size problem.? I always get page not found when I try to use this. Is there a special custom permalink setting I need to use? It is looking for ?hf_page=2. Do I need to create the additional pages? If so, how do I name them?

    What permalink settings are you using? If you have something custom then it might take some tweaking to your .htaccess file to make this feature work.

    I’ve tested all of the WordPress permalink “Common Settings” on Apache but anything beyond that I can’t make any guarantees.

    Thanks for a great plugin. When I moved the feed off the static homepage, I found that it works fine with all the permalink settings on any other page.

    hmm, interesting. pagination seems to work even on a static home page on my test server but maybe there’s some combination of settings on your install that are causing a problem.
