I’m not super familiar with all those WP carts, although I have used some of them before…. Actually from your note it sounds like you haven’t got a specific cart in mind for the job, so if you’re open to suggestions then I would really recommend FetchApp. for selling and delivering digital products like music.
It would work extremely well with this plugin, with either Google Checkout or PayPal payment gateways enabled.

No, FetchApp is not a WordPress plugin. It’s a standalone web application really useful for selling digital products which need to be delivered to the customer after they successfully complete checkout. I’ll definitely write a tutorial for integrating it with this plugin, because I think it would be handy for a lot of users… Starting now and will post a link here ASAP.

Thanks for the tutorial but that way is not working for me, its not what a was looking for i want to give the customer the ability to add multiple track to the shopping cart.
i think iknow a way but need your help. using wordpress cart66 i want to create a track product then take the output shortcode and put in the manage songs Link Buy Text section so when someone clicks on the buy on the player the track will added to the cart.
at the moment the Link Buy Text section doed not allow shortcode my question how can i enable it like enabling shortcodes to work in text widget by put add_filter(‘widget_text’, ‘do_shortcode’); in the function.php.

Sorry about that dnelsondean – your post got shuffled down the forum and I didn’t see it.
I’m afraid I’m not really familiar with cart66 so I can’t guide you through it… I gather you’re trying to find a way to add shortcode to the link buy text field in the plugin > this shouldn’t be too hard – yep you’ll need to write a function for it in the function.php and/or perhaps the plugin files themselves (to apply to the plugin). Give it a try… worst case scenario it would break – in which case you can just ‘undo’. Let me know how you go.

Fetchapp is expensive as I have multiple albums. Is there another way to send the downloads directly from our server with encrypted links? This would have made more sense than using and pay for Fetchapp…I really don’t get why this app has been added…………..

The button link field allows you to put any link you want in there… so you can potentially use whatever method you want to sell your music. You could use iTunes, BandCamp, TuneCore, MySpace, another WP ecommerce plugin, or even just plain old PayPal buy now button…
Sure, with lots of files FetchApp would be expensive. That said, its an amazingly good product that does exactly what it says it does in a very simple and easy to use manner… many users are happy to pay for that service. So hence I included a tutorial for it. Might also write some more tutorials for other selling methods when I get the time.
