  • Hello there…
i have imported ok some content of html files like this…

    i use the <div class=”entry-content-tomano”> and works ok…

but…. i only have the option to put the date as today.. or as the last time it was modified locally…
well how can i use the date with some html inside the code?

as you can see.. in this html there is a date… as this html came from a wordpress html backup…

I’m working on adding this feature.

This feature is in 2.3, available now.

Is there any documentation on this feature? I see that there is a section under HTML Import Settings > Title & Metadata > Set timestamps to and we have the option of using a custom field.

Update: Once custom field is selected and saved, there is a Select date by option under the Custom Fileds tab. When using the HTML tag option, must the HTML element contain only the date, or can it include other text and the date will be stripped out?

In other works, does the date have to be in a unique html element with an ID and contain only the date?
