    This plugin does 90% of what I need it to do but for some reason I cannot see the user results on the backend when I am logged in as the admin.

    I click over, edit the exam and the click the link that says “SEE USER RESULTS FOR THIS TEST” which takes me to a screen that says:

    Users data
    You can copy the results from here and post it in your site

    But that is all I see… no user data. No download link.

    I’ve done the test using a couple of different accounts and still no luck.

    Is anyone else having this problem?

    Cheers!

    Hello daledubilowski.
    Hexam test has two types, you know: QUIZ and TEST. If you create quiz, then user data will not be saved even if a user logged in. You must choose TEST type when you create new test. It must work fine in this case. Please be sure about test type and reply me here about final result.

    Hi Elvin

    Yup – I like the way the TEST functionality requires users to be logged in to take the exam so I use that function but the problem is once I submit, it says “Your results has been received.” but on the backend there is no user data.

    I’ve just checked the database and it is writing to the database so for some reason it is just not querying/displaying properly.

    That being said, it looks like it doesn’t actually store user answers – just their final score. What I like about polldaddy is the fact that I can go after the quiz is complete and update the correct answers and it will re-adjust the scores.

    Cheers! dale

    I have a problem using HEXAM…
    When I type [hexam id=test_number hexam] tag in my wordpress page, the widgets on the page are removed from their original place on the page and shift at the bottom of the page…

    I have been using the test plugin on my different pages of my blog. One link is given here…

    Hello dsvakola, i will check your site and will write a reply soon.

    Dsvakola, i have checked your site, it might be because of your theme css. your wordpress theme main layer is not wide, thats why this problem appears. plese try another wordpress theme, there will not any problem. But if you insist on your current theme, then i advice youto go plugin editor, and to edit hexam.php file and make this change:
    put
    tags before or after each “<input type=”radio”…>”. And write final result here please. Good luck.

    (@elvinhaci)

    in above message i meant new line tags. Edited:

    put <br> (br) tags before or after each “<input type=”radio”…>”. And write final result here please. Good luck.

    Thanks for the suggestion…

    I tried with no luck…

    I edited hexam.php on line no 58, as follows –

    <input type=”radio” name=”answer_’.$i.'” value=”‘.$j.'”>’.$answers_ed[$j];
    }<– I INSERTED THE BREAK TAG HERE.
    $replacement=$replacement.’

    ‘;
    }

    ALSO THERE IS ONLY ONE ENTRY OF <input type=”radio”> TAG IN THAT FILE, AND YOU HAD SAID THAT I WILL HAVE TO EDIT EACH ENTRY…
    Will you please help…?

    Same problem I am facing on my other wordpress blog at:

    Hello Dsvakola. i have checked a plugin code and found a little html code problem. i have just updated plugin and fixed it, you can try to update now. but if you want to solve it yourself, without update, then i write the solution:
    1. in 54th line there must be stripslashes($tests->content).'<div>';, replace <div> with <br> there.
    2. in 63th line delete </div> from </div></form>.

    the problem must be solven after it. pleae write a final result here. i will wait.

    There is a new version of HEXAM – Online test system available. version 1.2.4.

    WILL YOU PLEASE GUIDE ME THAT SHOULD I UPDATE WITH IT?

    Plugin Author Guaven Labs

    (@elvinhaci)

    Not at all, Dsvakola, i am very glad that i could help you. in next month i am going to make new plugin on based on HEXAM. it will be able to provide online competition full-season (some keywords: tours, weekly winners, winner of month, leader of season, season winner and etc.), not just one test or quiz. and it will contain rich user data – when user has sent his result, what is final point and average point of user and etc.
    If you are interestef in this new plugin, you can give your suggests about it, i will think on your suggestions. Each developer’s thoughts must be important for plugin authors.

    P.S. New update 1.2.4 fixes an html bug which yesterday we solved together above. You may update it, dont worry. No any data will be lost, questions, answers will be saved after update. it just fixes a little html bug(replaces one <div> with <br>, removes one </div> – you did it yourself, yesterday). but for maximal carefullness before update you may save current version of your HEXAM copy in your computer storage.

    The WordPress has a Serious Problem of Permalink Settings…

    I have started one topic on this –

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-wordpress-has-a-serious-problem-of-permalink-settings?replies=0#post-1859467

    Am I right regarding this…?

    WP must provide complete freedom to the user…I suppose…
    It is assumed by default…!!!

    Is it possible to use the HEXAM test plugin without people being logged in?

    I am trying to get people to take a test but do not want them to be logged in to be able to do so. Does anyone know how I can do this?

    Thanks.

    Plugin Author Guaven Labs

    (@elvinhaci)

    Hello bluecloud. Of course it is possible. When you create a test, type QUIZ in test type field. That’s all. There are two options for that field: if you type TEST, then user must be logged in to see that test and the results will be saved in database. if you type QUIZ, then user will not need to be logged in and the results will not be saved in database.
