• So when you activate a plugin in WordPress it embeds the CSS and Javascript in every page! Headspace2 specifically addressed this by having this option: ‘Page-specific plugins – have plugins that run only on specific pages!’

This is solves the problem but it does not appear to work on the most current version of WordPress, WordPress 3.1.4.

I can make my WordPress site run so much faster if it didn’t have to load unnecessary plugin data. I have BuddyPress running on a subpage of my WordPress multisite. It loads all the BuddyPress script on the homepage, thus slowing my site down even though I have ‘removed’ the BuddyPress plugin from the sites homepage using the plugin-specific option.
