When it works, this is a great plugin, but, this week it seems to have fallen over. Every time I click on the SEO Engine link from the MEOW Apps menu on my admin console, it shows me initially the pie chart and other options, then thinks about it for a few seconds and pops up a dead bird icon.
Having finally found an SEO plugin I actually like, I’m loath to have to switch again, so I hope you can help find a solution.
I’m pretty sure this “dead bird icon” is coming from something else rather than the plugin itself, as it wouldn’t be part of the plugin. Maybe this is because of the browser you are using, please try using Chrome to see if this helps. Could you check if you have any third-party plugins like security, cache, or optimization tools that might be causing this? Try temporarily disabling them to see if that helps.
If possible, share a screenshot—it might help clarify the issue in case I’m misunderstanding.
Also, you can open your browser console to check for any error messages related to the plugin or directly check your PHP error log for server errors. Let me know if you find anything. Thanks!
The browser console is empty when the icon appears. I rather assumed it was yours since I’ve never seen it anywhere else.
I tried deactivating all other plugins except SEO and the AI engine. No change :(. I then tried deactivating the AI Engine. Still no change, SEO Engine still falls over every time.
I’ve found the problem. It was a payment issue with openai that they failed to notify me about. I don’t know if there is some way to produce an error on your side to reflect this in future, or if we must all hope they communicate better in future…?
In any case, you mat mark this as resolved. Thank you for your efforts… and your brilliant suite of tools.
