adding a feature to REPORT A USER AS SPAM REGISTRATION ON THE USERS page would be a great idea.
Try checking all the boxes under “other settings” in the plugin settings page.
If you are using a plugin to register users or a custom page, the plugin may not work correctly.
If you are using a firewall, sometimes the plugin will not work, depending on the firewall settings.
WordPress does not record IP addresses for users, so it will not be able to report users to the spam databases.

I have the same problem. Just about everything is set and I woke up to 42 new registrations all spam. The plugin reports that it has blocked 1.
Is there anything else I can do? I’m kind of in trouble here.
Please email the address of your website and I will look and see if the plugin is loading correctly.

I was able to get on the website and see the “Red Herring” forms so I know the plugin is doing something.
What plugins are you running? I can’t think of why I should be stopping 1000 spam comments and a few hundred login attempts every day at my sites and not working on your site.
Are you running a firewall. The log should be showing these logins with their IP addresses. Can you copy this and paste it into an email to me at kpgraham@gmail.com

My log file was set to small out of the box to record more than 4 lines..? Anyways I set it larger and will keep u posted. Thanks VERY much for your help. If I can ever return the favor plz make the call out.

I had to hunt down the settings page, it was in the network admin settings area. Seems to work but did miss one but better than nothing…thnx!

Most get stopped by the time limit bc there too greedy and try to go too fast (1-3 secs).
Now I just have to get a guinea pig to sign up and see if there is any hiccups b4 i invite new members!
