    Thanks for the fantastic and elegant plug-in!

    I may have overlooked this, but is it possible to hide a category? E.g. I have a category called ‘carousel’ for a slideshow on the homepage and because this has lots of posts, it displays as the parent category for a single post and I don’t want users to see this.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi James,

    Thanks for using H&G! Currently there is no way to exclude specific terms of a taxonomy (in this case, categories) or to hide the taxonomy from the breadcrumbs. I will add both of these changes to the list for future updates. Check back soon for the update!

    If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Hello again,

    It gets better! We have just implemented the feature you are looking for in version 0.0.4, which is now available from here as well as on GitHub. To hide the carousel category term, add the following element to your options array:

    'taxonomy_excluded_terms' => array(
      'category' => array( 'carousel' )
    )

    For complete documentation on the new taxonomy-related features added in 0.0.4, please check the ReadMe on the GitHub repository.

    Wow! You guys are absolutely incredible. This is perfect. Thank you so much.
