Hi emagineit
That is not possible at the moment but it is a very good idea to implement as a feature. I will definately add that one to my list 🙂
Hi brad, thanks a zillion for the update.I have read over Gravity forum you are working with their developer to modify the plugin in advanced way..can you give any idea about when we can expect the upgraded version will available be?
Hi emagineit
I am hoping to have a new version out by tommorrow. It is working perfectly with v1.5 of Gravity Forms. I just need to get it working well with v1.4.5
I will see what I can do about the child page field – it shouldn’t be too hard to do…
Hi emagineit
I have added this functionality in and would like someone else to test it for me. Could you help me out?
thanks
Brad
Wow..that’s awesome…I would love to test it..tell me the way to move forward.
Thanks that you have added my requested feature.
perfect – please email me: bradvin [at] gmail [dot] com and I will send you the code I have with some instructions.
Many thanks for the help 🙂
Hi emagineit
Are you still keen to beta test this for me? I would really like someone else to test it out before I release it. If you are keen, please email me and I will send you a zip of the plugin files. bradvin [at] gmail [dot] com
cheers
Brad
Hi Bradvin,
interested in testing this too! I will email you….
Sascha
This has been released as part of version 3. Please download and check it out.
Hi Brad or emagineit,
I just found this thread again. Question I have is how do you go about creating this situation (as above):
form will show a DROP DOWN with list of all parent posts(this very custom post) by the author(who is submitting the form). And selecting one will create a child post under the selected post after submission.
The “by the author who is submitting the form” is the crucial bit! Thanks for any help with this…
Hi landwire
What I am going to do is build in a filter that you can hook into, rather than add this to the actual plugin, as everyone’s needs are different. The filter will then allow you to add a check to see if the author of each post is the currently logged on person. I will make the changes and then let you know how to do this with an example
An example would be great Brad! Thanks very much for that.
Hey Brad,
I can’t find the option to set the parent of the page, see screenshot http://i.imm.io/diyQ.png
