[resolved] How do I add an "opt in" check box? (5 posts)

Hi! I created a form that works great and I integrated with Constant Contact. I want an "opt in" box that will be pre-checked beneath the form for people to join the newsletter. I did add a field that says it, but I'm thinking that how the form works, tied into CC, is automatically going to put the email into CC whether or not they check the box.

How do I do this? Any ideas? Tahnks so much!

I also have the same question, thanks for posting this Mary, hopefully we can both find the solution.

You add a normal check box in Gravity Forms, then use Conditional Logic when you set up the Constant Contact feed. http://www.gravityforms.com/features/conditional-logic/

Hello Zack, thanks for the answer. I understand the concept of using conditional logic within the form but what I am confused about is how is the Constant Contact feed connected to the check box? Would I use this method?: "Field Conditional Logic

Apply conditional logic to a field to show or hide that field based on a previous user selection." If so, is the "enter a value" how the feed connects to the check box?
