• This morning when I checked my Google Analytics page I noticed that over 40% of the visits are hitting my WordPress Home Page. Usually less than 5% of my visitors touch that page – they go directly to a “Post”.

Furthermore 67% of visitors are landing on that page. Usually that figure is less than 1%

The Source for ALL of these hits is Google (ie(google.com google.ca google.ro google.de etc – in all about 30 varients of google – no other search engine shows up.

Any idea of what might be causing this? I’ve checked my .xml site map and it seems ok?

I don’t “think” I’ve made any changes that would cause this but???

Could it be some sort of re-direct? Something else?

This is not good… I REALLY want visitors to hit a specific page.

    Thanks for any help!!!
