  • I use Dagon Design’s sitemap generator, and that can be set to break up into pages.

Paul thats not google sitemap index. I have more than 50,000 urls and I can’t submit that to google. Read this

“You can provide multiple Sitemap files, but each Sitemap file that you provide must have no more than 50,000 URLs and must be no larger than 10MB (10,485,760) when uncompressed. These limits help to ensure that your web server does not get bogged down serving very large files.”

I completely misunderstood what you were looking for, sorry moazam.

np. Waiting for author to answer this question. Its quite useful thing

Google says if you have more than 50,000 urls then the next best thing to do is to create more than one sitemap and you can combine them using a sitemap index. My site also has more than 50,000 urls and I found the only other solution here:
    https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/docs/en/protocol.html#sitemapFileRequirements

We wish the plugin could do all of this for us, but that would be like asking for a brand new plugin… unless there’s one out there that does this already…

Hope I’m at least a little bit helpful…

@ How to make sitemap xml with all url (topic) ?

Well, the instructions are on the page if you follow the link. Maybe you’ll just have to abandon the easy route and create a sitemap index without trying to use the plugin… At least you won’t have to wait 10 months for the author to respond…

    Hahaha. OK !
