Problem notifying search engines (3 posts)

    hello!
    i use the 3.2.6 xml sitemap plugin on wordpress 3.3.1. When i proceed to write the sitemap it indicates it was ok, (verified sitemap.xml is ok) but a message tells:

    There was a problem while notifying Google.
    There was a problem while notifying Bing.
    There was a problem while notifying Ask.com.

    All three problems got same error messages

    Notice: Use of undefined constant CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST - assumed 'CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST' in /mnt/142/sdb/d/f/xxxxx/en/wp-includes/class-http.php on line 1042

    in the code, the xx.xx.xx.xx is 173.194.78.147 (https://www.google.fr/).

    Something on your web server or network is blocking the connections to the search engines. Maybe it is a configuration issue of your web hosting provider. Google will still check your sitemap regularly for changes.
