# [Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Invalid URL

 * Searched the forums but didn’t find an answer.
 * In Webmaster Tools getting:
 * “This is not a valid URL. Please correct it and resubmit.”
 * I can see in the xml file that the categories are listed as relative urls rather
   than absolute like the rest of the urls. In Webmaster Tools the urls look like:
 * [http:///](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-xml-sitemaps-invalid-url/?output_format=md)
   followed by the category name path
 * I tried both checking and unchecking “Include categories” in the Sitemap Content
   and manually rebuilding the file with no change.
 * Am I missing something simple?

    XML Sitemap Generator 3.2.4
