[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Help! Installed Plugin Now Other Plugins Stopped Working

I installed the Google XML Sitemap plugin and I had an error at first. The error said that it could not write to the sitemap.xml and the sitemap.xml.gz so I created the files and uploaded the files to my site and it was a success. The plugin installed and everything appeared to be normal. Then, I went to my site to test and make sure everything was running smoothly and I noticed my social media plugins were no longer working properly. I tried to deactivate the xml Sitemap plugin and it did not fix the problem so I deleted the plugin to check if the plugin had caused the issue. But even after I deleted the Sitemap plugin my other plugins are still not functioning properly. Do you have any suggestions on what may have happened? I did not make any other changes to my site prior to this happening?
