[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Does not generate initial sitemap, blank page

I’m using a fresh install of wordpress and the latest plugins. I uploaded this plugin, all is well, except, it never generates the first site map, it gives me a blank page. I’m running the latest PHP, my php limit is 32M, and I only have about six pages and 20 posts on this site. It’s a unix based server, not shared. I’ve checked the paths, permissions, all is ok. I created the initial blank files and gave them the right permissions. I get no error messages. I do not have multi-sites turned on, only one site. This is wordpress 3.0. Any ideas?
