Destination folder already exists (3 posts)

When I tried to update Google Sitemap to ver. 3.2.4, it uninstalled the prior version and then failed to install. The prior plugin version is gone and ver. 3.2.4 won't install and gives an error "Destination folder already exits. /public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-generator.

How do I remove the destination folder?

use an ftp client or your host's file manager

Thank you for your response. I am so unfamiliar in how to do this. I did try to install the new plugin as a FTP client from my blog page. It has a FTP SSL client also.

I am unsure if I have access to my host's file manager.

Thanks in advance for any additional advice.
