[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] CJ affiliate clicks from site map generator

    Hi

I hope someone can give me some advice about site maps as Imhaving major issues with commission junction and my site causing 1000s of clicks when I add feeds.

This is my problem, Im using a plugin to insert CJ feeds into my website, this is casuing every item to come up as a click on my CJ account when its added so Im having to change my CJ id before I import and then change it back via PHPadmin when its all done.

Now, if I use a sitemap generator will this cause my CJ feeds to send clicks backto CJ, will this maper cope with a site with 50,000+ feeds, will it over tax the server cpu, memory etc upseting my hosts, Im sure you all know how upset they can get.

    Thanks for any help

I don’t know how the feed plugin is working, but the sitemap plugin selects all normal posts and adds them to the sitemap. If your CJ items are normal posts they will be included as well.

If you don’t want this, you could put them all into a special category and exclude the category from the sitemap.
