# [Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Cannot configure plugin

 * **You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.**
    - I set all the file permissions to 777 on every file. No joy.
    - I deactivated/activated the plugin several times and it did not fix the problem.
 * It’s probably a great plugin, but it’s useless at the moment. Any ideas?

 * Hi,
 * the url of the admin interface has changed and includes now the directory of 
   the plugin, so if you access the admin page by using a bookmark or the history
   of a browser you will receive the permission error. Please use the WP navigation
   bar to access it and it should work 🙂

 * I have the same problem. I used the WP navigation link to connect to the admin
   options and then clicked on the “configuration page” on the plugin options without
   any success until now. Always the same message : “You do not have sufficient 
   permissions to access this page.”

 * OK, so the direct link in “plugins” doesn’t work and you just have to use the
   XML-sitemap link in “Options” in the general admin left sidebar.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for the hint! I forgot that link, directly under it there should be another
   one next to “Visit plugin site” which will work. I will remove the non-working
   one in the next version. Thanks!

 * Hmmm – I just installed this and was getting the same error message. However,
   when I click on the option in the left nav, I only get the WOrdpress menus – 
   there’s no content!

 * I installed it and went to the sidebar and it says google was notified on dec
   7. However my site still does not show up on google, it only shows my old sites
   links and since we overhauled the site with wordpress, it still doesnt show on
   google. what gives?
